At Marvin A. Cooper, P.C. we’ve been helping children in the community for many years, whether in Westchester, the Bronx or Manhattan, we’ve serviced children who unfortunately have suffered injuries. In order to give back we’ve become involved with an organization called Project Morry, Project Morry sends inner city children to summer camps who can’t otherwise afford to go. Whether in Manhattan, the Bronx or Westchester these children get an opportunity that they never would have had otherwise. This gives us a chance at Marvin A. Cooper, P.C. to give back to the children that we help. Project Morry is very important to me personally and it’s also very important to our law practice. Morry Stein was somebody who I knew very well and he owned a children’s summer camp. He also believed that children should have an opportunity to go to camp, who might not necessarily have the funds to do so. Since we at our office service people in the communities of the Bronx, Westchester and Manhattan, we were very very involved with everything that Morry was involved with also. He very tragically died in a plane crash when he was raising money for the sole purpose of sending children to camp who could not afford to do so. When he died his friends and family got together and decided to form something called Morry’s Camp. Morry’s camp became so successful that a few years ago we changed the name to Project Morry because we not only send inner city to camp who could not afford to do so but we also provide an all year round school component so that each of the children involved in Project Morry have graduated with a 100 percent graduation rate from class to class from year to year, because of that the law office of Marvin A. Cooper, P.C. have been very very involved with this organization. I myself was president for a few years, we continue to run events for project Morry and it remains so close to our hearts because it sends children to camp in the same communities that we service in our law practice. Thank you.
